Reppert’s Candy was founded in 1945 by Floyd and Dorothy Reppert. In 1978, the Reppert’s decided to retire and sold the business to Larry and Jean Schell. Larry and Jean have owned and operated the company ever since.
Since the Schell’s ownership, Reppert’s Candy has expanded the business in many areas. In 1998, the company moved into a brand new 12,000 square foot facility in Oley Township. Reppert’s Candy now produces over 65 varieties of candy and approximately 200 different style molds. The business is primarily made up of wholesale accounts and retail. During the off season, the production staff keeps busy by coating products for other manufacturers such as Tom Sturgis pretzels.
Today, almost 12 years later, Larry, Jean, Keith, and Ken all work together on a daily basis manufacturing tasty classics and inventing new ones. The Schell’s, along with their dedicated and faithful employees, have created a longstanding tradition and outstanding reputation for “quality candy at an affordable price.”
